For those of you that enjoy lounging around a pool while vacationing, Poipu Shores has one of the best located swimming pools in the Hawaiian Islands. The view from the pool area is post card beautiful.  The nearest sandy beach from Poipu Shores is know as Brennecke Beach  It is a short stroll along the ocean and is great for body surfing, boogie boarding, and swimming.  A few yards further is Baby Beach and Poipu Beach Park, which was once named "America's Best Beach" by the Travel Channel.        

Kauai has golf coures everywhere, and several are nearby in Poipu.  The Poipu Bay Golf Resort, home of the Grand Slam of Golf, and the Kiahuna golf course are less than a one mile drive from our vacation rentals at Poipu Shores.  Shopping is also just minutes away.
