If this is your first trip to Kauai, Poipu Beach, also known as Poipu, is a beach town located on the southeastern most tip of Kauai. Poipu is considered to have the best year round climate on Kauai. Day time temperatures in Poipu range from 78-89 degrees while evening temperatures vary between 62-74 degrees. Trade winds generally blow year round from 10-25 miles per hour. Poipu averages 32 inches of rainfall per year, most of which falls at night when the atmosphere cools.
